SERVING OUR MASJID

Our Head Khatib and Imam

Guiding our community in worship and learning.

Head Khatib and Imam

Maulana Abdul Matin

Maulana Abdul Matin has served as the resident Imam and Head Khateeb of Baitul Aman Jame Masjid for over 30 years. After completing his Kamil studies at Sylhet Alia Madrasa in Bangladesh over 40 years ago, he travelled to the United Kingdom and dedicated himself to serving the masjid and its community.

Throughout his service, he has delivered khutbahs, led daily and janazah prayers, conducted nikah ceremonies, and helped resolve community disputes. He has also established children’s classes and regular Qur’an lessons throughout the year, nurturing generations in their faith and learning.

A pillar of the community, Maulana Abdul Matin played an integral role in establishing the annual Darul Qirat Majidiah Fultali classes. His dedication to worship, education, and community life continues to shape the masjid and those it serves.
